“God’s love is a concrete sign of God’s great gift to humanity, something that most of us don’t feel like we can touch and hold on to in this world. The message of love is at the heart of what Christ has done for us in his life, death, and resurrection.” – Fr. Michael DeMarco, Pastor
Saint Ann is a collaborative effort of all members in our parish; especially the deacons who work to ensure that Saint Ann Parish truly is made up of the people. We are a church family, each and every one rooted in our faith. The parish encourages to live out the teachings of Christ by:
Membership Growth: We recognize that there can be many obstacles individuals may have in taking part and participating at different departments in a dynamic parish organization. We are a people dedicated in our faith, so we work with any individual to ensure that they have encountered God and established their relationship with Christ.
Saint Ann Catholic Church is an active parish in the Diocese of Atlanta, Georgia. We are a welcoming community built on strong values and love for God and His People. We work hard to nourish the faith of each person who walks through our doors, to give them the opportunity to explore their relationship with God, and to mobilize them for their mission in this world.
Our parish is a new generation of catholicism that was founded upon the faith and traditions of the Catholic Church. As we approach the 50 year anniversary of our founding, we are more committed than ever to following in the tradition laid down by our founder. Our people, who have been serving on this corner for decades, know that God has brought many different kinds of people to this corner and has blessed them through prayer and sharing their faith with others. Our founder envisioned this corner as an anchor and a comfort to the neighborhood, as well as an entry-point for all who seek God, and we continue to fulfill that mission today. St. Ann Catholic Church is a thriving community, with diverse ministries that serve the needs of our parishioners and the community. We are, first and foremost, a family of faith. Our doors are open to all who seek God, and we nurture that faith through worship, liturgical celebration and spiritual formation.
This congregation of the Diocese of Atlanta was founded in 1965 under the leadership of the late Father B. Joseph Fuhs, S.J., who served as pastor for more than 40 years. Father Fuhs died in 1988 at the age of 79. In 1993 the Northside Alliance came together under the leadership of Father Michael McGovern. In 2008, Fr. Larry Kelly became pastor, and with the support of our parishioners, he has made it his mission to fulfill our founding vision and to care for all their needs through the Church.
Saint Ann Catholic Church is open to all people who want to experience the love of Christ and want a place to grow in faith. Although we celebrate the liturgical seasons, our vespers programs are inclusive of all people and do not require membership. To learn more about our funderal programs, please visit us at
