Introduction: What is Mother’s Day and Why Is It So Significant?

This post is a list of things teachers can do to celebrate Mother’s day and make it an awesome day for students. Everyone in this classroom will get something extra to celebrate this special day. These are not mandatory, you can choose to do what you feel is appropriate and suitable.
-Give students a break before finishing their work so they can spend time with their mom’s.
-Send students home with flowers for moms if the weather is nice. -Get them a card or make them one.
-Make them some mommy and me activities. Try to make it fun.
-Get them a bunch of flowers for mom and put them in a vase. – Have a class party so all the moms can see each other. -Make a big lunch or meal for your moms and give it to them after they come pick their kids up from school. -Let students use their cell phones to call their moms or send text message. -Get your moms pictures taken while they’re here. -Write a letter to your mom and say you love them, put it in an envelope and give it to them. -Make fall papers in the classroom and have the parents sign it and bring it home.
